The Park
Wood Park is organised into five sections - four for holiday caravans with some areas exclusively for privately-owned caravans and one for touring caravans and tents, allowing a degree of privacy and seclusion for everyone. Bank Holidays and school holidays are the busiest times. June, July (before the school holidays start) and September are perfect for a quieter break.
Although our Park is peaceful and relaxing, we are still within easy reach of all the attractions Pembrokeshire has to offer - from theme parks to go-karts and history to mystery. Its castles offer a glimpse of the past, its beaches are amongst the cleanest and safest in the country. You can enjoy all the area's attractions which make this part of the coastline so appealing to visitors.
Tenby, just one mile away, attains the prestigious Blue Flag Award year after year, Saundersfoot is just one and a half miles away with its busy harbour and yet more beautiful beaches. Waterwynch beach is just 15 minutes walk.For the more energetic and fun-loving there is Wales's most famous theme park - Oakwood, Folly Farm Anna Ryder-Richardson's Anna's Welsh Zoo and Heatherton along with many other local attractions.
Park facilites
Licensed bar
Wood Park is an uncommercialised park maintained to a high standard. We have a friendly licensed bar where you can enjoy a drink without having to drink and drive, make new friends and meet other residents or simply relax together over a quiet drink. Please note - we do not have entertainment, discos, bingo or karaoke.
Games room
The games room with pool tables, videos games etc is the ideal place for children to escape to while parents get their meal ready after a day out. Younger children may prefer to use their surplus energy at the play area. WiFi is now available (in association with Camping-connect) so you can have the convenience of using your laptop, ipad or mobile device.
Services
We have an excellent modern toilet shower block with hairdrying points where you can plug in your own appliances such as hair dryers or curling tongs. We have a small well-equipped laundry room, with deep sink, washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities. There is a separate under-cover washing up area with deep sinks. We have facilities for recycling paper, cardboard, glass, plastic and cans.
Play Area
There is a play area, which has multi-play unit, sprung play equipment and rocking horse, where children can play in safety.
